Thank you for visiting my web site. A special welcome to my MUSC 2226 students at ECU and MUS 113 students at Craven CC! This site is always a work-in-progress and will detail what I'm working on and other related info.

I started writing music at age 11. In addition to practicing my piano teacher's practice drills, I started writing my own music for each lesson. Luckily, she saw a talent and encouraged it. That was 1977. Since then, I have two degrees in music composition (BM, MM) and have written well over 600 works of various styles and types. While my passion is writing instrumental music for movie soundtracks, I also enjoy writing popular-style songs here and there as inspiration hits me.

From time to time, I release singles in MP3 format in the downloads section for visitors to get a taste of my work. I am a composer, not necessarily a singer, but hopefully my recordings convey what I'm after in the piece. I write, record and perform all music heard at this site and in my albums.
